We are a family-run training firm based in
Ashford, Kent. We have a strong commitment to high-quality, professional and
enjoyable training. We believe that people learn quicker and better in a relaxed
and informal environment where the emphasis is on enjoying the whole experience.

Our instructor, Richard, is experienced dynamic and
successful. He aims to make learning to drive fun and enjoyable for you. His
pass rate speaks for itself, with 4 out of 5 students passing their
Driving Test on the first attempt under his guidance.
Richard is highly qualified, he is a Grade 5 Approved Driving Instructor
(ADI) passing all 3 of the DSA's instructor examinations at the first
attempt (something only 3% of instructors achieve). He is a qualified
professional LGV (lorry) driver, a Pass Plus registered instructor and has
run speed awareness courses on behalf of Merseyside Police.

Training Prices
Taster Session
£20
The starting point for everyone.
Book an hour's one-to-one tuition on one of our Pre-Road training areas, find out if you like
us, then get £20 off the price of a full course...
Fixed Price Course*
£795 (includes practical test fee and a
Taster Session)
Train for one price until you pass your test!*
This can be intensive, semi-intensive or modular, (or a combination of
these, for example you could do a series of modular 2 hour lessons once a
week, then an intensive 4 days leading up to your test day).
(If you have not already passed your
Theory Test then it can be
added for a further £40 which includes the Theory Test fee,
(currently £31), plus a
Theory Test
DVD-Rom
to help you practice). Remember, we have a Theory and Hazard
Perception Test practice station at our offices for you to use when you have
booked your test through us.
*Subject to assessment of your suitability on a
Taster Session. First practical test fee is included, if you fail then
all you pay for is further test fee(s). Training must be completed within 6
months.
Intensive Course**
£420
4 hours a day for 5 days.
Can be 2 sharing (as with LGV and PCV training
courses)
**Subject to assessment of your suitability on a
Taster Session.
Modular Course
£220
Block of 10 hours.
Ideally taken as minimum of 2 hour lessons, where
possible.
Test Day
£102 (includes practical test fee)
This also includes an hour's warm-up training lesson and use of the car
for test.
If you are accepted on our Fixed Price Course this fee is included!
Please note: unlike other training schools we book tests for our students,
we don't ask students to book their own practical test.
Individual Lessons We
don't really do these. Our experience has shown that students learn
better, and quicker, when they enrol in a driving course
rather than booking individual 1 or 2 hour lessons. So that's what we do, we
provide a courses rather than just lessons.
However, if a student of ours requires an extra lesson or two to top-up
their course with us we can provide that at £24/hour.

Taster
Session
What is it?
A 'Taster Session' is an hour's
one-to-one tuition from a
Driving Standards Agency qualified instructor on one of our Pre-Road Training areas,
in either Ashford or Tenterden.
Who is it aimed
at?
We ask all
of our new students to start with a Taster Session. It's a great way of
checking us out before committing yourself.

You can start your driving course with us at 16 years old on our safe,
Pre-Road Training areas, all you need is your provisional licence.

Get used to the cockpit drill, setting up your
driving position, mirrors etc.

Learn how to pull away and stop safely and
correctly.

Discover how to steer and manoeuvre around
obstacles.

Change gear correctly and smoothly.

Reverse into a parking bay, and around a corner.

Get a head start prior to the rest of your training.

Pass your
test sooner.
All this (and more) before you are even allowed on the
road at 17!

Pass Plus ...a DSA scheme
aimed at new drivers in the first year after passing their test
£120
(If you live in Kent, are aged between 17 and
19 years and have passed in the last 12 months it may be possible to get
half of this fee paid - call us for more details!)
Passed your test? Just how good are you?
There are six
modules to complete:
- in town
- in all weathers
- on rural roads
- at night
- on dual carriageways
- on motorways
You will not have to take a test at
the end of the course but you will be
continually assessed during the modules.
We will complete a training report
form that you’ll sign and date when you
reach the required standard in each
module. To pass the course you'll need
to reach a satisfactory standard in all
the course modules. You’ll be given a
progress record to help you to keep
track of your progress throughout the
course.
On successfully completing your training you'll be sent your Pass Plus
certificate to help claim your
car insurance discount.
